Types of jobs you could find at Family Dollar®

Field Specialist

Specialists are responsible for providing exceptional service to customers. Additionally, Specialists must be flexible in assisting store managers and assistant store managers with daily operations. Employees also assist with inventory, auditing, loss prevention and mystery shopping as necessary. A HS diploma or equivalent is required and previous store managerial experience is preferred. Employees ought to be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds as needed, and a valid driver's license and ability to travel is required.

Asset Protection Specialist

Asset Specialists greet customers and assist them with all needs, and they also work to prevent and monitor theft from the store. Employees must communicate with store managers and inspect daily audits and report to loss managers in order to protect company assets. Basic math and reading skills are required as well as a HS diploma or equivalent. Previous loss prevention experience is a plus.

Customer Service Representative

Employees provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, helping them complete transactions and pleasantly answering all questions. Representatives need a HS diploma or its equivalent as well as a driver's license and the ability to travel as needed. Other responsibilities include unloading merchandise from trucks and independently stocking shelves when necessary.
